MELANINE FLAKES (RESIN)

Special melamine for manufacturing friction materials. For the use of all mixtures of organic friction materials. This is mixed with all kinds of common blenders. It harmonizes well with the friction raw materials and binds the mixture.

Advantage

  • -Melamine flakes work as a silencer inside the friction material (like vermiculite) but it is not an insulator.
  • -The flakes work as a braking surface cleaner (such as steel wool, glass shavings).
  • -Help to raise the coefficient of friction.
  • -It does not burn, charring around 350 ° C

  • -Specific weight 5 60 gr / dm³.
  • -Humidity 3-4% total.

Recommendation: We recommend to use the melamine in the main mixture about 10-12 % of total.
